This car was completed on December 15, 1933 and carries body number 10;
one of the first 1934 Cadillacs produced. It was delivered by the
William O. McKay Cadillac dealership in Seattle to David Seabury, who
was known at the time as “probably the highest paid consulting
psychologist in America.
” Seabury, the author of 15 books on pop
psychology was the “Dr. Phil” of his day and while based in New York, he
also operated the David Seabury School of Psychology and retreat in the
little town of Olga, Washington, on Orcas Island.
Living in such a small area, the car saw limited use during Seabury’s lifetime.
